The Indiana Insider Blog

Don’t let this one get away!

This weekend, June 6-7, is Free Fishing Weekend in Indiana. That means adults do not need a license to fish in Indiana public waters for this weekend only. (Kids under 17 never need a fishing license.)

In celebration of Free Fishing Weekend, recreation areas located across Indiana will offer special events including fun fishing derbies, casting clinics, fish cleaning and cooking classes.
