Indy 500 Festival Balloon Glow - Captured By Cass
This week’s Photo of the Week shows the kickoff event for the 93rd running of the Indianapolis 500. Captured by Cass was at the balloon glow event last Friday evening, May 1 and she took some fantasic photos. The balloon glow kicked off a month-long celebration of the Indianapolis 500, the world’s largest single -day sporting event. Some other “Month of May” events include:
- May 2 – OneAmerica 500 Festival Mini Marathon (the country’s largest half-marathon)
- May 16 – Breakfast at the Brickyard presented by ProLiance Energy
- May 23 – IPL 500 Festival Parade
- May 24 – 1:00 PM ETD – The 93rd running of the Indianapolis 500
