Swiss Wine Festival

Are you looking for something to do this weekend? How about the Swiss Wine Festival in Vevay, Indiana! Vevay is located about two hours southeast of Indianapolis and one hour southwest of Cincinnati – a perfect weekend getaway!

The Swiss Wine Festival started yesterday and goes through this Sunday, August 24. There are activities for everyone in your family and you can’t beat the price ($3/adult and $1/kids)! Here are some of my favorites:

Grape Stomp – Each year there is a grape stomping competition. (For those of you first timers, there is an “open stomp” after each competition.) This all culminates with the championship stomp on Sunday afternoon!

Arts, Crafts and Food Booths – A festival isn’t complete without crafts and great food! Booths are open daily. Click here for a list of food vendors.

Like to compete? Then don’t miss out the canoe race, 5K River Walk/Run or the Cornhole Tournament!

For more information visit the Swiss Wine Festival’s website. Hurry … the fun ends this Sunday!
